    oblique?
Whatever it is, I'm just glad it's not an arm injury.

Stubbs is swinging a real hot bat this month: .286/.400/.571

Really? He fared pretty well last season. He had a much lower ERA than Bailey did in their 19 yr old seasons.

Yeah, but he is only 4 months younger than Bailey and he has imploded in high A. Injury?

Volstad, despite having a mid 90's fastball has never been a strike out guy. He relies on his fielders to make outs and the lack of strikeouts has always been something that people have disliked about him. All of the 'stuff' is there, but the results have yet to really be seen as far as what his stuff should indicate.

Ryan Freel has proved you never say never, but Herr's likely a carrer organizational soldier.

Those guys have value for certain, the Steve Kellys, the Norris Hoppers, the Aaron Holberts of the world - but I wouldn't count of them for any sort of prospect status or hope for the MLB squad in the future

I remember a couple of years ago several of the early predictions had the Reds taking Volstad. I've been following him ever since.

The whole pack of Marlins starters from the 1st round of 2005 have just been gutted this year. Sean West out for the season with TJ. Volstad has struggled. Thompson has been underwhelming. Tucker has been getting smacked around.

What went from a future Miami Murderers row in Low A last year now looks like a group wide letdown. Something to remember with pitching prospects.
