    Bonaroo

Has anyone ever gone to the Bonaroo festival in Tennessee? I was strongly considering going this year. With a setlist of The Police, Franz Ferdinand, Wolfmother, The White Stripes, just to name a few. It sounds like an awesome festival.

That does sound like a good show.
Wear gaudy colors, or avoid display. Lay a million eggs or give birth to one. The fittest shall survive, yet the unfit may live. Be like your ancestors or be different. We must repeat!

I went one year. It was one hundred thousand degrees. That is literally all I remember.

A friend of mine went 2 or 3 years ago- it rained a whole lot he said. He considered going this year, but he said the artists where a little too mainstream and he felt the festival was starting to sell out. But the time he went he really liked it alot.
I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.

Sorry about leaving off Tool, but im honestly not a huge fan of theirs... Is the whole festival worth spending the almost $200 and going?

I went last year and had a blast. I got most of my ticket money back in free drugs, which might not be your thing. Still, for the rest of my life, I can say I've seen Radiohead, Tom Petty, Ben Folds, and many others I've always wanted to see. I'd say it's an experience worth doing once in your life.
