Shocking.
Stunning.
When all is said and done more is said than done.
"Ricky don't lose that number...."
L.A. manager Grady Little had a bad feeling about Wednesday's game when he saw Harang and pitching coach Dick Pole walking in after Harang's warmup.
"I saw two big men," Little said. "Either could have shut us out tonight."
Holy jeez. How many millions of dollars has he just left sitting on the table from these antics? Wow.
Of course Ricky's problem is that he hasn't tried to hide the fact that he uses pot. I'm sure there are plenty of NFL players who use pot. But they mask it and perhaps lay off during the off season. If they know a test is coming, they won't partake for a month or so. I can understand why they would want to use it, though. Most of these guys play in a lot of pain and I believe the pot helps alleviate it.
Is there still and NFL Europe team in Amsterdam?

He still owes the Phins several million fo that signing bonus. He better start selling it instead. What a goob.

Losing a career because of weed.
What a stupid rule.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.
It's a gateway drug.
That's why alcohol is legal.
"I smoke two joints in the morning...I smoke two joints at night...."
A good friend of mine is good friends with the brother of a former long-time NFL'er. This former long-time NFL'er liked to partake in mary jane. His team(s) always let players know at least 90 days in advance when their test was coming. This guy had plenty of time to clean his system before the test. He never failed a test despite using pot throughout his long NFL career.
My friend is a pretty trustworthy type and I believe him. Hence, the reason very few NFL'ers test positive for drugs. Think only the few that get caught are the only ones using? I think we are smarter than that. On one hand it makes the testing seem like a joke, but on the otherhand it makes those who get caught seem very foolish or very addicted.
I realize that marijuana is illegal in this country, but does it affect performance on Sundays? It's easier to become addicted to painkillers or prescription narcotics than it is pot, and you have to believe that as much pain as NFLers go through, there are some guys out there who likely have a problem with a painkiller addiction, which can affect performance, yet you never hear of anyone suspended for that.
I'm not really sure what my point was now, but maybe someone else will read and understand what I was trying to say.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!
