NASTY curve by Homer to get a big K.
2 out
bases loaded
Homer at 99 pitches.
People wanted to see Homer Bailey start stiking out more hitter he k'ed 6 in 5 innings. He struggled tonight but still left with a 3-2 lead.Scratch that Bailey went out for 6th gives up a double then a sac bunt -now he's gone.

why did they let him go back out? Bad decision.
What the heck were they thinking by leaving him in? I mean even if he was on a 105 pitch count, he was still at 99 coming into the inning. Makes no sense.
Jerry's been demoted to AAA?
Walks can kill up here...needs to watch those.
The only reason why he is walking so many batter is, he isn't ready yet. Simple as that. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the light bulb flips on by June and he begins putting impressive outing after outing in AAA.
But the walks are just indication of being a young pitcher in a level that you are ajusting to.
Slow down on Bailey people. RIGHT NOW, he isn't going to touch Cincy in 2007. May even start back down in AAA in 2008 for a few starts.
Sarasota is winning 7-2
Bruce: 1 for 2 with a single, RBI and 2 walks
Rosales: 3 for 3 with 2 doubles a triple and 5 RBIs
