Im surprised Keppinger wasn't used against the 2 lefties they have faced from the Dodgers.

Is Castro a better hitter vs. lefties then Dunn is vs. lefties?

    Career vs. LHP-

    Castro:
    .221/.278/.306/.584
    (He's actually better vs RHP)

    Dunn:
    .242/.359/.489/.848

    Answer: Hell no.

I could've answered that without pulling out the stats.

Where have I seen this? Oh thats right, the Dodgers use a consistent lineup and they consistently win.

Hendrickson looks like he has got off to a good start but if memory serves me correctly, the Reds have hit him with a lot of success in the past...
"In our sundown perambulations of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing 'base', a certain game of ball. Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms, the game of ball is glorious"

Just to note....Conine is 3 for 16 against Hendrickson, Hatteberg is 3 for 7....Hatteberg has hit lefties better than righties this year, and Conine righties better than lefties.

    Now I'm just nit-picking.

This isn't a question of who is better against lefties. Everyone knows the answer to that.

Castro is playing over dunn because Narron obviously thinks he needs a rest and that Castro is a viable replacement. Either that or Dunn has a minor injury of some sort.

IMO, the Reds can't afford to sit Dunn if Castro is the alternative.

    No you're not.

Conine has an OBP below .300 this year, and is hitting cleanup.
