    Crazy Stats

I can't sleep right now so I thought I would search some stats for players so far this season, so here they go:

Ivan Rodriguez has 1 walk in 134 plate apperances, wow!! (He is OPS'ing .595)

Andy Marte (Indians Top 3b Prospect) here is his line 1hr 8rbi's OPS'ing .553
    4errors in 13 games.

    Stephen Drew (Former #1 Prospect in Baseball) OPS'ing .614 1hr in 135 PA's

No player that has over 60 PA's for the White Sox is OPS'ing over .770.

Only one Washington National has an OPS. over .773 and that is Ryan Church with .827.

#1 Prospect Alex Gordon is OPS'ing .563 he has 7 errors and he is a 3rd baseman.

I know it's early and people struggle early but some of these guys stats around the majors are pretty bizarre.

    Min 75 PA

    Dan Johnson: 1.155
    JJ Hardy: 1.002 OPS
    John Buck: .987 OPS
    Aaron Rowand: .948 OPS
    Esteban German .908 OPS

It's hard to remember that even 300 PA isn't a very big sample size.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
