    Kentucky lands Patrick Patterson

Billy Gillispie has already landed two big recruits since coming to Lexington. The fact that UK still got Patterson even with the coaching change is what amazes me, although distance played a factor in it.

Must have upped the payroll just like the old days.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

Wow, haha, the past 18 years or so and 2 national championships represented by 2 coaches of impeccable character don't pardon us from the sins of Sutton? MEA CULPA. MEA CULPA.

Who's your team? Indiana? Is your program dirty since we know what skeleton's are in Kelvin Sampson's closet and HE'S THE CURRENT COACH!! Wow, how'd you REALLY get Eric Gordon, HMMMM?

    Garbage.

    Garbage.
I think the sins go back a little further than Sutton but thats just hear say. Gordon just didnt want to deal with the Mike Davis situation and thats pretty much why Oden and Conley went to OSU. Sampson made too many phone calls, he didnt send satchels full of money to players.

I think UK's history of past transgressions is pretty well established. Your comments added really nothing to the discussion other than snarky sarcasm. Of course, if that is the kinda thing that drives you to post, then have at it.

However, if you really are trying to post meaningful comments, you might consider trying to offer something within your comments that demonstates you possess a certain knowledge or an interesting perspective on the matter at hand.

You know, like demonstrating anything other than your propensity to grasp at low-hanging fruit.

Wow sorry to insult the greatest basketball tradition in the history of the sport. You have to take into consideration that I am a disgruntled Indiana fan who was raised to despise UK basketball. By the way I hope your personal attack on me made you feel better.

No big shock considering the distance from Huntington to Lexington. It is still impressive, though.

The tide really turned for UK during the last seven days. After Gillispie spoke at Patterson's team banquet last month, things began to heat up considerably. For some reason, Patterson had not hosted his maximum number of "home visits" by schools this spring. As a result, Gillispie was allowed to bring two of his assistants to the Patterson home during UK's visit there last week. Apparently, the triad of coaches were very impressive to Patrick's mom and the trip apparently sealed the deal.

I have to admit, I lost quite a bit of hope on Monday after Jai Lucas signed with the Gators. I figured his close friendship with Patterson would be the tipping point.

Actually Patterson said he had been on the phone with him quit a bit but he also said Legion( BG other recruit) has been calling as well.
To me Billy Clyde surely has been using the Donovan to NBA rumours as more surfaced yesterday.
Anyway....is all I can say is .......Andy Katz..........

No way Patterson comes to UK with Tubby still the coach. G has done more recruiting the last 4 weeks than Tubby did the last 4 years.

The saying: "A snowball's chance in hell" comes to mind.
