Minnesota is in such need for a right-handed hitter that the Twins reportedly would be willing to deal relievers Jesse Crain and Juan Rincon or starting pitching prospect Scott Baker for the right bat.

This organization has enough arms hanging around to cobble together a decent bullpen. Of course, even a decent bullpen on paper can get hamstrung with poor management. That's where I think we fall.
That's why I would need Baker. Young starter. Had a few rough cups of coffee in the bigs, but he has potential.
You'd do EdE for Baker? I can't see the Twins going for both Baker and Rincon/Crain for just Edwin. Now if Wayne can pull that off, I might not be so angry.
But if it's a short reliever straight up or two guys a la Majewski/Bray for EdE, yeah, it's 'splosion time as far as I'm concerned.
Conine was acquired for one or two reasons: a compensatory draft pick or two compensatory draft picks.
Or zero compensatory picks.
