    Bumps Ahead?

With all the talk of so and so should be bumped up.
Who would you you like to see bumped up and to what level?
Who would demote and to what level?
When would you bump them up?

I would like to see Bruce up (AA): Williams down (ADV A). After the All-Star Break.
Jay is ready to be challenged at the next level, but I would also like to see him dominate in the FSL All-Star game.

    Re: Bumps Ahead?

I'll go. Since I've been tracking the pitchers I'll stick with those.

I'd bump Tyler Pelland and Calvin Medlock to AAA.
I'd cut Brian Shackelford and move Steve Kelly to AA in Medlock's spot.
I'd bump Ruben Medina to AA in Pelland's spot.
I'd bump Marcos Mateo to A+ in Medina's spot.
I'd move one of the extended spring guys to A- no idea which one.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

I agree with all those plus two - Carlos Guevara to AAA and Sean Watson to High A.

    ditto that.

I'm a big fan of Pelland, and though I wish he had the pitches to be a dominant LH starter, I'm confident he has the pitches to be a dominant LH reliever. But he needs some innings in that role before the bump to AAA. IMO.

As a reliever, Pelland has a 5.73 ERA. He also has 19K's in 11 IP.
