Jay Bruce is simply amazing. Amazing. Unbelievable. Jay is now only a triple shy of the cycle, as is Danny Dorn. Jay has five triples this year, too, so it's not out of the realism for him to get one.

Dragons waste a lead off double again. Valaika K's. Francisco flys out to center. Phipps pops out to 1st. 1-0 Clinton in the B8.

    Re: 5/17/07 Minors Updates

    Stubbs: 0-3, BB
    Valaika: 0-4
    Francisco: 1-4
    Turner: 2-4, 2 2B

Other than Justin Turner, the Dragons offense has seemingly decided to take a night off.

Mudhens score 3 runs on 4 hits in bottom of 5th lead 3-0. Mudhen pitcher Jeremy Johnson is starting 1st game of season after being a reliever all season. Bats 15 up 15 down so far. Mike Hessman and Andrew Graham both hit homers of Gardner in 5th.

Bats hitless thru 6 since its a double headder game will only go 7. Bats look pathetic at the plate Hens pitcher Johnson has thrown 60 pitches thru 6 innings, and has a perfect game.

Richie Gardner with a perfect 6th. Since game will only go 7 he will get a complete game in his AAA debut but a loss. He allowed 4 hits (all in the 5th) ,3 runs and 2 walks in his 6 innings. Threw free and easy nice outing.
