Who picked A.J. in the next Bengal to get arrested thread?
In the mortal words of Hawk Harrelson, "He gone!"
That union has nowhere near the strength of the baseball one.
They have backed up Goodell on his hard line stances.
Not saying he will get released beacuse of this but they can make an excuse
to get rid of him and just do it....w/o having to be detailed about it and
most likely no one would care.
Local 12 updated the article with the statement from the Taylor Mill Police.
More bad news from Bengal-Land as off-the-field behavior is back in the news.
Linebacker A.J. Nicholson is being processed at the Kenton County Jail on a domestic violence assault charge.
Taylor Mill Police Chief Steve Knauf tells Local 12 a woman at Nicholson's apartment told the officer Nicholson punched her in the eye. The officer observed the injury and took Nicholson into custody.
Nicholson is charged with fourth degree assault, a misdemeanor, punishable by up to 12 months and /or $500 fine.
Back in March, Nicholson was sentenced to two months in a sheriff's work program and one year's probation.
Nicholson pleaded no contest to burglary and grand theft after stealing electronic equipment from a teammate at Florida State.

Marvin needs to send a message and get rid of some of the thugs on the team. This guy sure sounds like he is an appropriate candidate.
"Hey...Dad. Wanna Have A Catch?" Kevin Costner in "Field Of Dreams."
Holy Jeez, I hope he does a year.
Just like the Steeler linebacker who was cut after being arrested for pimping, HE GONE!
What a bum
Go BLUE!!!
Let's not jump the gun.
He has been ACCUSED, not convicted. If he is tried and found guilty, by all means the Bengals should cut his ass and he should spend some time in the pokey. But let's wait and see if the story has any merit before we crucify the guy as a woman-beater.
For all we know, he didn't do anything. This is a 'he said, she said' situation and it wouldn't be the first time that a domestic dispute resulted in trumped-up charges being filed.
