I would hope that we wouldnt need our two best starters against the Jimbos. Arroyo, Saarloos and heck even Lohse should do the trick.

Weathers goes old-school, going 1 2/3 innings to pick up the save!
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

Yeah, that Billy Beane, he is the suxor. I sure wouldn't have wanted that track record of unbroken winning records the A's have had for half a decade on a budget similar to the one Cincy has. Yeah! You get all on him Marty! Put him in his place! Because it has been soooooooooooo much better doing it the way Cincy has been doing it.

    Sheesh.

Brandon Phillips is a lot of fun to watch. That remains a big one in WK's favor.

Those two and Tony LaRussa were in the room with Abner Doubleday when he invented the game. And Sandy Alderson was knocking on the door but they wouldn't let him in.

Really couldn't tell if he was serious or mocking.
Marty should know. He was probably working room service back then. I hope they tipped well for Marty's sake.

Weathers is going to be the only closer who pitches three innings every five games.

Sometimes I wonder if the game hasn't completely passed Marty by and if some of his rants are his subconscious desperately trying to cling to air...

He still has not come to grips with the demise of the BRM.....
