Votto belts a solo HR and is now 2-for-2 on the day. Edwin followed with another single and he is also 2-for-2.
After a horrible month of April in which Joey Votto hit only .192/.347/.346 - .693 OPS, he has turned around and hit .394 with a 1.035 OPS in May to raise his seasonal OPS to a solid .848.
Yeah great to see Votto stepping up to the AAA challenge of late. Good sign.
I was in favor of sending EE to Louisville to regain some confidence. I think he's done that and now it's time to bring him back up to play 3B every day the rest of the season.
Joey doubles and is now 3-for-3 with a double, homerun, and single. EdE is 2-for-3 with two singles.
Dumatrait done 6 IP, 9H, 1BB, 6K, 5ER.
At least K's and Walks look good.
