    Agreed !
If this losing continues ......EE at 3rd, Votto at first, Macbeth/Salmon/Cooter from the pen.Dumatrait and Bailey in rotation and let these guys get the experience and be ready to go for the following season.

Would Bailey, Salmon and Votto be the only ones who's clocks start if the above scenario becomes a reality? We are a small market team and arbitration/free agency has to be an issue. I will dread 3 years from now when hopefully a very good Bailey and Votto come into arbitration and Bruce the following year. I guess we can't think that far int the future but if these guys are anything close to what we think I hope they get long term deals before they become top 5 players at their positions.

I haven't seen the splits between starting and relief for Pelland, but following along with these updates everyday he seems to have been pretty impressive as a reliever with lots of K's and few walks. I think this is a stud in the making.

    Anybody got more detail?

I just tried to listen to the Sarasota game online from MILB.com and got a phone dial tone, then I heard some girl say "and the doctor says he got a bacteria from him" then it cut off.

    Sarasota is already up 1-0.

Daryl Thompson threw a 1-2-3 1st inning and then Jay Bruce hit a RBI single after the first two batters reach.

I just noticed that Carson Kainer is DHing and batting 7th for Sarasota! Good to see him on the field after having a kidney replacement. He grounded out in his first atbat.

    Thompson struckout the side in the second inning. 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K.
