Keyshawn has hung up the spikes

Keyshawn Johnson has retired and will accept a job as an ESPN analyst.

    Nice career for Keyshawn.

Maybe this is a silly question: Is he a hall-of-famer or even in the running?

Art Monk was also a team player. Keyshawn is as selfish as they come.

    I appreciate the heads-up. I won't be watching.

I don't think any WR other then Rice should get in if Monk isn't in.

As an admittedly biased 'Skins fan, I couldn't agree more. I really don't understand it. He's got the rings - 3 of 'em, though he was injured during one of their Super Bowl wins - and at the time he retired, he held the record for most receptions in a career. He also at one time held the record for receptions in a season. Oh, and he actually blocked too.

It makes me ill that Michael Irvin got in the Hall before Monk.

Anyone think he could be dumber than Michael Irvin?

    Not a chance.

By the way, Keyshawn: What happened to all those 3-5 contract offers that were supposed to be rolling in to you during the last month or so????

Keyshawn might be the most over-rated receiver in the history of the NFL. He was never that great. Average, that's how I'd describe Keyshawn.

Any receiver worth his salt goes across the middle when the team needs a big play.

That doesn't mean that you have to legally change your name to remind everybody that you go across the middle.

Keyshawn has become a cartoon character ever since he left Tampa Bay.

Re: Keyshawn has hung up the spikes

He was a joke the minute he took off his helmet after 1 TD ...his first...in NY....and acting like a complete fool....and yet people thought that was cool...so they had to put a rule against taking off your helmet.

He was a good No. 2 WR....that was at best. Way over hyped...but he was at least good at that.

With Chris Henry suspended for 8 games, Keyshawn would look like a nice option for a #3 receiver for the Bengals....

    I'm just sayin...
