Some of the posts I read around here are just insane to me. So I want to see the results of a poll. Now the question is who is the best player RIGHT NOW. Not 3 years ago, not 3 years in the future. Who will have the best numbers and/or be the most valueable player to the Reds this season?

It's Ken Griffey Jr. He's playing as well as he has since he's been in Cincinnati, I think he's finally back to the point where pitchers fear him. Phillips, Hamilton, Arroyo and Harang are all fine players though and Dunn has amazing power even if other parts of his game leave alot to be desired.

Phillips is the best total player but Griffey offensive player.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

Right here but I had to vote for Griffey
I think the best total player is Phillips followed by Josh Hamilton.
The best offensive players are Dunn and Griffey.
Hamilton might be the best defensive player...although on this team, that's kind of like being the owner of the world's fastest AMC Pacer.
griffey is the best player with phillips being the next closest then dunn then hamilton then encarnacion
I said Griffey but I concede that Phillips is the ONLY other player you can make an argument for. I just don't think that Phillips defense is enough to make up for the big OPS gap between the two.
I picked Griffey, but I equal the question to who was the best dressed Clampitt?? Jed, Granny, Jethro or Ellie Mae??
