    Freel is seriously hurt

For those not listening/watching, Freel is being taken away on a stretcher. He collided with Hopper in right center and then landed badly on his neck.

    Updates as we know.
I have a love-hate relationship with Albert Pujols. Mostly hate.

Suddenly this game and this crappy season means nothing.

Most of the times in these situations the way they are so cautions moving him makes it a lot worse than it actually is. Let's hope this is no different. He is talking and moving his arms which are good signs.

As he was being loaded into the ambulance, I kept waiting for a thumbs up from #6. No avail.

You're right. They're always extra cautious with these things, but I really would have liked to see the thumbs up or something more reassuring.

David Pollack gave the thumbs up, and he'll probably never play again.

    Update on Free's condition?

Anyone have an update on Freel's condition? I heard the CAT scan last evening came back negative but haven't heard anything new since. Lots of talk about whether or not Hopper stuffed the ball back in Freel's glove but nothing about whether the guy is serious hurt (what's wrong with that picture)....By the way, I'm not just refering to RZ. I can't find anything on his condition.
