Safe to say, Pirates will get the broom out today

No confidence Loshe against Snell. Should be another 5-0 first inning. Sanchez has already smashed a double down the line.

There is still hope though there is a 60% chance of rain this afternoon.

FWIW, I just want to point out that Edwin and David Ross both played very good games today- Edwin looked better at 3B than I have EVER seen him play.

Both guys have struggled mightily this year. You can't blame this team's record squarely on these two, because except for Griffey, Dunn, Phillips, Harang, Arroyo (mostly) and Weathers (mostly), it's been a total team melt-down.

But Edwin played a great game today, and Ross had a HR and a great stop at the plate- I'm going to commit RZ heresy, and say he reminded me of JB there for a minute, thus violating an unwritten rule of mentioning David Ross and Johnny Bench in the same sentence.

    If you're gonna go..........GO BIG

Truthfully, I understand the frustration that motivated ya.... In the Shrektonian school of philosophy...."better out than in I always say".

BTW, can you start three more of these threads during the 'Stros series???????

Ok, I'm done dumping on ya...
