Anybody know how Gardner's stuff is rebounding? I see 3BB and 4K. Is he a fooler who gets walks when guys lay off and Ks when they chase? Is he throwing hard? I admit, I've gained most of my knowledge about the Reds minor leaguers reading the board and applying some stat analysis I've picked up on here. With Gardner out for so long, I haven't looked into him much and assume anything from back prior to the injury may be obsolete. I'd love a scouting report.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Dominant first inning by Homer Bailey. The first hitter bunted back to Bailey for the first out. Homer then struckout Tomas Perez on three pitches and then jumped ahead 0-2 on Fields before getting him to chase a 3-2 pitch in the dirt according to gameday for strike three.
1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K
13 pitches 9 strikes Charlotte announcer said Bailey made a very athletic play on the bunt
His stuff is flatter across the board, but I will admit I feared he was toast, that he isn't completely dead yet. But the loss of 2mph on his fastball and a less spectaculer slider(which was considered a plus pitch at one time) probably describes a future long man from the pen. We will see. Maybe by some miracle he gets everything back eventually.
Votto falls behind 1-2 and then takes three straight balls to draw a walk. Votto now has a 32 bb/36 k rate. Not bad at all.
He's got 15 walks to 13 K's in May.
Votto steals his 5th base of the year and advances to 3rd on the throwing error.
Chattanooga leads Mississippi 1-0 in the bottom of the 5th.

On an 0-1 pitch, Ryan Sweeney grounds out to Keppinger 4-3.
Craig Wilson flies out deep to LF on the track on a 3-1 pitch. It's only 325 down the line and 347 to the alley's there. Wilson definatley got under it.
Rogowski signles on an 0-2 pitch. Somewhere, OBM is annoyed. Hanging curveball from Homer per the Bats announcer.
Brian Anderson steps in. Played all last year with the White Sox, optioned down on April 29th this year. Anderson grounds out Lopez to Keppinger on the first pitch.
Homer: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 K, 0 BB
Homer gets Sweeney to groundout and Craig Wilson flies out to deep left for the first two outs. He then jumps ahead 0-2 on Rogowski and then shows off what he's learned from Reds pitchers, which is giving up a basehit on 0-2. Brian Anderson FC on the first pitch.
Bailey: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K
