Dickerson singles on a 0-2 pitch and is now 3-for-3 with two singles and a double.
Still hoping for a mid-June call-up for Homer. I really am. I saw nothing from his first few months that gave me any concern, at all, and now he is turning it on like he did last year at this time.
Dickerson now 3-3 on the night.
That trio of dominant relief pitchers down in Chattanooga gives me hope that one day the Reds will once again have a solid bullpen themselves. Guys like Bruce, Bailey, and Votto will get the publicity (and deservedly so), but the Reds are in dire need of developing guys like Medlock, Guevara, and Pelland and getting them to the majors successfully.
