Who gets called up if Freel goes on the DL?

The obvious choice would be Dewayne Wise. He's been up before, decent glove (can play all three OF spots), has decent speed. Or do you go with a wildcard. Joey Votto. He's been playing some LF. He can hit. The problem until Hamilton comes back is we are stuck with Hopper in CF and we have no other options without Freel to play OF on the major league roster. Wise would be the logical choice based on needs and experience. Or do you get Votto some at bats? Where is the questions. He's not going to play center and Dunn is in left.

it is a very intersting question because none of the outfielders in AAA our exactly lighting it up. Probably Wise because he can play all 3 outfield spots and has decent speed as stated. Votto would be an intersting choice but he can only play left and Dunn is out there everyday and if the kids just gonna sit the bench keep him in AAA where he can play everyday.

I heard this morning that Freel's only out a few days, so they're thinking he may avoid the DL. If not, though, barring trade Wise is the obvious choice. The only potential OF on the current bench is Conine and that's a stretch at this point in his career.

Could this also mean that Jr. moves over to center for a few games, if needed?
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.
