    I particularly like this part:

Both the New York Yankees and their archrival Boston Red Sox recently made a practice of cracking down on season ticket holders caught selling their unwanted seats on the Internet, in violation of team policy.

New York's new rules, if signed in their current form, would actually ban New York sports teams from taking such punitive action.

Meanwhile, MLB should require teams that scalp their own tickets (e.g. the Red Sox, Cubs) to report that revenue for revenue sharing.
". . . acquiring J. Blanton from Oakland for, apparently, Bailey/Cueto, Votto and a lesser prospect. I do it in a second . . . The Reds' equation this year is simple: Make Matt Belisle your #3 starter . . . trade for Blanton, win 85 or more, be in the mix all summer." - Paul Daugherty, Feb. 8, 2008
