    Hey WLW

Sportstalk with Daugherty sucks. Get someone who is capable of carrying on a conversation and likes to stir the pot. You screwed up when you cut Furman.

I agree, Daugherty is knowledgeable however is boring when it comes to radio sports talk. Stick to writing Daugherty eventhough I dont like that either.

Furman may be a little more entertaining but as God as my witness the 5 minutes I hear Furman here and there he is always talking about a race issue...gets very old after awhile

Daugherty is always talking about how much A*** D*** stinks...ooh, I mean, the Cincinnati media whipping boy who must not be named. I'm tired of his act already.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

    Re: Hey WLW

I only got a snippet of his show last night before the game, but in all honesty, I was struck how refreshing it was to hear someone not screaming at me. Aside from Gary Burbank, that station majors in screaming. I didn't often listen to Sports Talk, mostly because I'm doing other things, but I may try it out when in the car sometime.

Of course, Daugherty wasn't a very good writer when he started out - way too many cliches, insider language, etc. But he's grown as a writer too. So we'll see how he is on WLW.

Of course, I always thought Greg Hoard was one of the best sportswriters in town, but he was a pompous a** on the air.
