Saarloos pitches two scoreless innings to wrap up a 10-2 Louisville victory.
Wood:
2 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 3 K, 1 BB, 1 HR
Bruce is 0-1
Wood completely lost command after fairly handling them well the first time. My guess is, his elbow is in bad shape. With elbow problems, usually you don't lose your stuff, but command.
Wood hasn't lost his stuff, but after 1 game in full command, he has lost control again. At best, hopefully the tricep weakness is still bothering him, at worst, he needs tj surgery, which in this day and age, isn't that big of deal.
Dragons 3-3 in the 8th. Stubbs just took a home run away from the Lugnuts.

If Bellhorn's success at Louisville isn't proof enough how much more difficult it is at the Major League level than it is in AAA, then nothing will.
Bellhorn can't hit the broadside of a barn in the bigs and he's tearing up AAA.
He's earned a call up to some team in the Majors, and someone will probably inquire about him.
Rob Neyer: "Any writer who says he'd be a better manager than the worst manager is either 1) lying (i.e. 'using poetic license') or 2) patently delusional. Which isn't to say managers don't do stupid things that you or I wouldn't."
geez, tough outing for Wood
