Hey Papa, will you hit one for me?

After returning from the birth of his child on Friday, Mark Ellis had 2 hits each in the Saturday and Sunday games.

Then, he topped that by hitting for the cycle on Monday Night, a 2-run Triple in the 2nd, a Solo-shot in the 4th, a Double in the 6th (stranded), reaching on an error in the 8th allowing the next batter, Kendall to hit a Sac-Fly and send the game into extra innings where Ellis Singled in the 10th, but was stranded at 3rd as the game goes into the 11th as I type this.

Kendall's sac fly didn't tie the game, which doesn't matter at all, except that it just so happened to be Wily Mo Pena's single the next inning that tied the game, Oakland had led from the bottom of the 1st inning until the top of the 9th. Dan Haren should be a near lock to start the All Star game. And Ellis should buy Wily Mo a drink for his "assist" on the triple.
