Just turned it on. He's got one out in the 9th.

Gets Kendall to GO to short, two out.

If you're Shannon Stewart, and you know your team is going to lose, do you let Schilling get his no-no or do you try and avoid it?

No! His hit was clean, and his team is only down 1-0.

Didn't some catcher bunt late in the game to break up his no-hitter bid a few years back?

Yeah the guy from SD, I think it was Davis. I believe it was in the 8th and Schilling was extremely angry.

No I mean hypothetically, if you're down like 6-0 and you're his last out away from a no-no, do you give him that piece of history?

Ben Davis, and I believe it was a perfect game bid, not just a no no.
I'm just like everybody else. I have two arms, two legs and 4,000 hits."

Absolutely not. Stranger things than 6 runs with 2 outs in the 9th have happened. At that level, I'd hope every player gives it his all every at bat, no matter what. (I'm not as naive as that sounds).
