Here is an article about Craig:

BYU pitcher Jesse Craig was named Mountain West Conference Pitcher of the Year Tuesday, according to a release from BYU athletic communications.

Craig, a senior from Las Vegas, was perfect in the MWC with six wins and no losses. Overall, Craig was 10-2 with a league-low 2.80 ERA.

"Jesse is so tough on the mound and gives us the swagger we need in the conference," said Cougar outfielder Colin Fanning.

Craig also led the MWC with 85 strikeouts in 119 innings pitched.

In addition to this most recent accolade, Craig has been named MWC pitcher of the week twice this year. His first honor came after ending TCU's 19-game home winning streak, shutting out the Frogs 5-0. He was recognized again for his work last week against the University of Utah.

Craig was also voted to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team for his 3.82 grade point average.

Craig began his career at BYU in 2006 after transferring from the Community College of Southern Nevada. He was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 2001, but chose to serve a church mission to Rochester, N.Y.

As a junior, Craig recorded 80 strikeouts and a 4.70 ERA for the Cougars.

Agreed. Let's just hope he doesn't pitch like Jenny Craig.

Jeez... what's everybody waiting for? I thought Chris Carpenter was one of the top pitching prospects this draft. Signability couldn't be THAT big of a problem

The Yankees take Chris Carpenter in the 18th round, and I bet he'll sign.
