As expected, Griffey gets a much needed rest in a day game after a night game. With injuries previously, he hasn't always gotten his usual rest in this situation. With the tough lefty in, it's a good as time as any to rest him.

He was starting to tire about 10 games ago, and his few days off seemed to rejuvenate him this week. We need to keep his fresh to keep him productive.

    John Waite?

Maybe "I ain't missing you at all" was a song about not striking out and not a love song.

And "Head First" was about Ryal Freel.

This really could be another thread.

I was also thinking the John Waite song coud have been about Tony Womack, because I really don't miss him at all. No matter what my friends might say.

Harang gives up a double to Sizemore to lead off the inning. Great play by Edwin in snagging a hard hit ball and throwing Blake out at first from his knees.

Sizemore advances to third on a wild pitch/passed ball (not sure which) and then Haranag walks Martinez.

Runners on first and third; no outs.

Seems like EdE is taking his time and not rushing anymore on the field.... Maybe the trip to 3A helped him figure that out... He has been soild at 3rd snice the call up.
