He's a left-hander who gets absolutely crushed by left-handed hitting. I can't wait to see him at GABP?

Nothing against Denorfia, but I still like the trade.

why don't they trade for someone useful? Like a "parking-lot-cigarette-butt-picker-upper-to-be-named-later" or whatever...

A case of beer would even be more valuable, as cliche' as that is...
L.A. manager Grady Little had a bad feeling about Wednesday's game when he saw Harang and pitching coach Dick Pole walking in after Harang's warmup.

"I saw two big men," Little said. "Either could have shut us out tonight."

He has the best curveball in the A's organization, and now the best curveball in the Reds organization.

He is the #27 prospect in the A's organization according to the 2007 Baseball America Prospect Handbook.

"Jukich's upside appears to be that of a left-handed reliever, but with what he has accomplished already, perhaps expectations should be higher....Led NAIA in strikeouts and k/9 [in 2004?]...he throws strikes with an active upper 80s fastball and a plus breaking ball....needs refinement with his changeup."

He is a 24 year old lefty who was in low A ball last year, high A this year.

Yeah, that's definitely what Wayne told us. Oh well, at least our pitching is good enough that we don't need help for a few years anyway.
