He plays there once a week or two. So do a lot of other guys in our system. The Reds have a stupid plan of making guys play other positions once a week or so just to 'get used to playing other positions'. I am convinced that by 2011 the Reds won't have a single starter but instead a bench of 13 super subs who will be changable parts to the worst team in baseball history.

Kinda like a really lame Voltron with no head or left leg.

Votto doubles in the 9th, and ends up 1-4.

I don't see much with the Votto LF stuff. He is a plodder out there, the thing Krivsky hates the most. He went from Catcher to 1st base for a reason.

Watching Votto develope into a decent 1st baseman isn't something that hurts, but a joy to watch over the next couple of years. Let it.

O'Brien had his tandem pitching methods, Krivsky wants to turn everyone into Ryan Freel.

    The more things change...

Chattanooga LH starter Camilo Vazquez went 6 innings, striking out 9, walking 0, and yielding 5 hits and 2 ERs. Good sold outing, hopefully a sign he is back on track after a few shaky starts.
Chatt. is still playing in the 10th inning, tied at 3-3.

The game was delayed for a while because of rain so his final line ended up being:
    2 Innings, 2 Hits, 2 Runs, 3 BB, 2 K

Sarasota is currently up 7-3 in the 8th
