Something I heard last night about Milton on the Twins Broadcast.

I was watching the Twins/Braves game and the Twins announcers made a call on Eric Milton that was really outspoken. One of the announcers made a statement saying Milton torqued his body too much when he throw, the Twins coaches saw this. Knowing that he was a injury waiting to happen was one of the reasons he was let go and one of the reasons why he was constantly injured after he left.

They tried to tweak his mechnics to fix the torque he created and couldn't..then they pulled the plug on him as a Twin. I thought it was interesting to hear that alot of the people on here were agrueing the same fact that Miltons mechnics were horrible for years.

I think Bert Blyleven is there color guy. He would know about pitching mechanics.

    Interesting...

I've never decided who I blamed more for that awful signing: CL or DO.

Lindner deserves some blame for first giving DanO a budget, telling him not to go over it -- and then at the 24th hour increasing the budget. By then many good pitchers had already signed elsewhere. Not exonerating DanO, but maybe if he had a real cohesive financial plan (based on ownership committed $), perhaps things would have gone differently...
