Career numbers are great but what have you done for me lately? Harang led the National League in wins and k's last year and is having a stellar season this year. The numbers early in his career were not exceptional, you are correct, but this late bloomer is a true ace for the Reds and he really is probably the most underrated pitcher in baseball. He has 90 strikeouts(3rd in the NL), 99.2 innings pitched(4th), a 3.95 ERA and a 7-2(7 wins is tied for 6th) record on a team that is 16 games under .500. He's one of the top 5 pitchers in the NL right now and that is good enough to be considered an ace in my book. I'm not mad, just don't really understand your reasoning.

Couldn't have said it better, so I won't even try. I will also add that his numbers have improved every year he has been in Cincinnati.
