Chattanooga loses 9-1 and my favorite prospect Carlos Fisher gets rocked.

    Fisher 4.333IP, 7H, 3BB, 2K, 5ER.
    Lockwood 2.667 IP, 6H, 1BB, 4ER, 2K,
    Asadoorian 1IP, 2K.

Offense only got 1 Hit. A single by Tyrell Godwin.

Yeah, but did he have any walks?

Reading the game logs, it looks like Fisher gave up a lot of fly balls, hits, extra base hits and outs. He's normally a ground baller. I hope its just a bad game.

3 nights in a row Joey has been in LF.

I'm I allowed to read anything into that yet?

No. But stamp it and file it in triplicate for future reading.
Hugs, smiling, and interactive Twitter accounts, don't mean winning baseball. Until this community understands that we are cursed to relive the madness.

I saw him in left the other night because I was lucky enough to be able to watch the Bats play. He was getting a lot of coaching between innings on playing left and he looked pretty comfortable out their. Will see how things play out next series.
If you have a losing record at Reds games, please stop going.

    Re: 6/16 Minor League Updates

Last night at the FSL All-Star Game I got to meet Jay and his family. Jay seemed very humble and appreciated of being at the All-Star game. Both of Jays hits were line drives over the 1st basemans head. From what I got from talking to him - I think he is done with the FSL. He signed a few baseballs for my collection. Also, Friday night at the Skills Challenge Jay participated in the HR Derby and Outfield Arm Accuracy Contest. Jay hit 1 HR and didnt make it out of the first round. He swung at all 11 pitches he saw - did hit 3 off the wall though. Jay by far had the strongest outfield arm out of the participants but ended up in 2nd place.

Jay does have a rocket for an arm. Thanks for the update BMGreene. I think Jay will finish out the first half with the Reds, which is 3 more games. The Sarasota Reds have a 1.5 game lead with 3 left, so I wouldnt be surprised to see him play 3 more games then get a promotion to help them to the first half title.

Also noticed that Sarasota Red Michael Griffin had 3 hits in the all-star game.

...and I couldn't help but notice that Cameron Maybin had 2 hits with zero walks and 2 strikeouts.
