    Chad Billingsley Alert

It's being reported that Billingsley has taken Schmidt's spot in the rotation.

He has ace stuff and he has relief and starting eligibility.
If you're watchin' a parade, make sure you stand in one spot, don't follow it, it never changes. And if the parade is boring, run in the opposite direction, you will fast-foward the parade. --Mitch Hedberg

He starts Thursday (maybe) and could be a two start pitcher next week.

    I love this kid.

    No way. Tim is fine.

Well, USA Today says they have decided against skipping his start.

Hope it works out for you.

So you think Lincecum is better than Billingsley overall? I think it's a toss-up at best right now, but I guess we'll find out once Chad gets a couple of starts under his belt.

Lincecum's peripherals are fine. Billingsley does not have the upside that Tim does. Once he gets the ball over, he'll be back to awesome.
