It's nice to see a town give him the credit, applause, and love he deserves.

Unfortunately, some people in this town don't realize how lucky we are to have him.

We've gotten to witness the greatest player in baseball.

I am really upset with FSN's choice not to air the whole thing as it happens.

Let's just hope "Gallagher" doesn't jump onto the field and do something crazy out there.

Geez, maybe he won't fly back with the Reds after the trip.

When he said that this is home, I thought he was going to take off his jacket and half a Mariners jersey on and say he had just been traded to them.

He turned it around to hug Buhner. Amazing tribute to JR. It is being shown on DirectTV channel 745.

Really classy move by the Mariners, and a great welcome from the fans.

Many a city has absolutely tortured the return of players. Cleveland with Jim Thome made me ashamed to say I grew up there.

    Thank you Seattle.

I love Junior and will always admire him. If he'd stayed healthy, he would have been well-worth the contract. He's still a draw. Seeing him hit two out last Saturday will always be a thrill for me to remember.

It''s really a shame that KGJ had to battle the injuries while doing things the right way and sorry junkie filth like McGwire, Bonds, Sosa, etc. pump their numbers and fame out of a needle.

I cannot extol mlb radio enough. I cried, I admit.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

Even more of a shame the ownership has not put the tools around him to give him the team he deserved. For that I will always dislike Lindner...I know what Lindner has done for other areas of the city but frankly he did this franchise a great disservice.
"Sometimes, it's not the sexiest moves that put you over the top," Krivsky said. "It's a series of transactions that help you get there."

Is Feierabend a late replacement for the M's? I thought they were scheduled to start a righty.
