    Pirates fans to protest Saturday

Here's an article about how the Pirates fans are fed up. How long before the Reds fans do the same???

I recall several planned protests against the Bengals a few years back, none of them ever amounted to much. I cant seeing some planned protest for the Red having much different results.

Detroit Lions fans have done similar things also, but that hasn't seemed to help up there either.

Fan protests always seemed kind of pointless. It never got Mike Brown's attention. 14 years is a long time though. When is the last time they made the playoffs? I remember them in 1990 obviously, but can't think of any other years they have been in it since.

pirate fans do have a ligitmate grip they have the 4th lowest payroll in baseball yet forbes say they were in the top 5 of the league last year in profits made.Something just doesn't add up in pittsburgh there waiting for the farm system to save them and there farm system right now stinks. All those pitchers they've been waiting for have been a bust this year other than snell and gorzelanny. There bullpen has fell apart and the trade for laroche looks to be a draw as gonzalez is out for the year and laroche can't hit to save his life.If they do open up there pockets it's for an old veteran who they end up trading for at the deadline. One of the highest paid players on the team is Jack Wilson that's right i said Jack Wilson.

The only "protests" that work are not showing up to watch the product.
