The Southern League of Professional Baseball Clubs has announced that Chattanooga’s right-handed pitcher Carlos Fisher will replace recently promoted catcher Ryan Hanigan on the North Division’s roster for the 2007 Southern League All-Star Game.

Since making his first start for the Lookouts on May 11th, Fisher has gone 2-3 with a 3.29 ERA, while notching 52 strikeouts.

The 11th round pick out of the 2005 First-Year Player draft has given-up one or zero runs in seven out his 10 starts for the Lookouts. The California native had a particularly impressive April, yielding only four earned runs in 31 innings, resulting in a 1.16 ERA for the month.

Fisher will join right-handed pitcher Carlos Guevara and second baseman Drew Anderson as the Lookouts representatives on the Southern League All-Star roster, while Hanigan will join right-handed pitcher Calvin Medlock as selections unable to participate due to recent promotions.

Hanigan, who was promoted to Louisville (AAA) today, has also been notable on the defensive end this season, throwing out 39% of would be base stealers, placing him third in the Southern League.
