When I was an undergraduate at MSU, I dated some girls who lived in Critz Hall, named after Hughie's dad. That was in the early 80's, and the old dorm is still here, but probably not for long. I don't know any more about Hughie, but will check it out in the archives the next time I am in the library.

This is a very informal group that just likes to talk baseball. More historical than statistical. Former ball players show up sometimes as well. And we have a few members from Mississippi.

It would be nice to have another Reds fan around, too.

This site is definitely more of my type. 1 quick question: How come I can't post under the regular Reds board? Great discussion, but no posting?

You can post on Reds Live, but not on The Old Reds Guard (read only) until you accumulate 200 rep points.

Well... Showboating is fine with me, as long as they get the job done... and Dunn... I can't say anything about it, because I jinxed him this season, so any bumbles bobbles and strike outs are all my fault...
