    Three Questions.

    1. Why is Devin Mesoraco not playing? Isn't this like his 2nd or 3rd day off in a row.

    2. I noticed Votto is off tonight as well, just a rest day?

    3. Justin Turner singles on a ground ball to right fielder Michael Campbell. Drew Stubbs out at 2nd, right fielder Michael Campbell to second baseman Tom King.

How does #3 happen to a guy with speed? If it was a bloob, wouln't it say something other than "Ground Ball"?

Maybe he was going to third and got caught in a run down?

Dragons trail 3-1. Base running is not very good tonight. Stubbs rounded 2nd and they threw behind him. Heisey was just thrown out at home on a bases loaded passed ball with 2 outs. The passed ball made the count on Valaika 3-0. Turner had just walked on four straight balls.

It would be nice if Wood could start producing more consistantly over the course of the rest of the season. IMO going into the season he was our 3rd rated pitching prospect but has since been passed by the likes of the Watson's, Fisher's, and even LeCure's.

Wood had a muscle inflammation injury that has set him back. It has only been the last couple starts he has started acting like his old self.

Fisher struggling again. I think the league has caught up to him. Chance for Cueto,Lecure and Wood to repass him.

I had him the #2 guy coming into the season. The only guy to pass him up in my mind is Cueto and I have him at #3. There is something to be said about a 20 year old lefty who is still young for his level that possesses the best change up in the minor leagues already. How many 20 year old pitchers have had the ability to say they have the best 'insert any pitch' in the minor leagues? Watson has been fantastic, but he is also 22 years old and still at the same level as Travis is. Fisher is closing in and to be honest, Fisher and Watson are neck and neck right now in my mind. Lecure is next in line behind them.

i hope votto not playing tonight means he is on his way to cincinnati. having hatteberg and connine on the bench as pinch hitters would make for a deeper bench.
there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

Ricky henderson has a higher OBP than C. patterson and he's retired. C. Trent 6-14-2008

Wood is done for the night...must have been five hard hits. Nine k's is still encouraging.

    Code:
Player	IP	H	R	ER	BB	SO	HR	ERA
    Wood 5.1	5	4	4	3	9	1	5.19

no score in the 6th. keppinger is 3-3 and is hitting a cool .371 this season. i think its time to bring him up and cut catro as well.

Wow, Fisher has completely collapsed. 11 hits in 5 innings make's Matt Belisle grimace.
