Jay Bruce doubles for the 31st time this season. He's 1-for-1. The hit was off a lefty btw.

Jay Bruce doubles again, making him 2-for-2 on the night with two doubles. Bruce now has 32 doubles this season and 52 extra-base hits in only 317 atbats. That's one XBH per 6.1 atbats, which is amazing.

Watson struggling in high A. The drop in K's is the most noticeable thing.

It looks like it takes Watson a while to adjust to new levels. He struggled mightily in Dayton last season after being promoted there from Dayton, only to see him bounce back this season and dominate the league. Now, after a promoton to the FSL, he is once again struggling. I look for him to turn it around before long if last year was any indication.

    Watson: 6 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 K

That's actually his best Sarasota start.

Hopefully a sign he is improving at this level.
