Interesting that Votto was taken out in the 7th.

Bruce is impressive. Now I'm not suggesting moving him up now, but whats the protocol before moving a guy up again if he's doing this well? I remember Dunns meteoric rise a few years back, does Bruce force his way to AAA soon with this progress?

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

And to think he began his AA campaign with an 0-for-5 effort with a recent 0-for-10 skid also sprinkled in there.

I don't think he will move up this season anymore. Dunn went nuts in 2001, but he was also a year older than Jay is when he went AA, AAA, MLB. I would expect Jay to finish out in AA, begin next season in AAA and then it all depends on what happens at the major league level.

Almost a walk-off HR for Jay...

Jay Bruce's double off the right field wall scored Drew Anderson with the winning run as the Chattanooga Lookouts defeated the Carolina Mudcats, 7-6, before a sellout crowd of 6,458 crammed into AT&T Field. Bruce was mobbed by teammates following the walk-off double.

Bruce looks like the classic no.3 hitter.

It's a shame that Jay Bruce is the only player on the team! I've heard he is a very nice young man, but so are the other guys.

I think we've heard plenty of talk about Johnny Cueto. Those are the 2 studs in AA, and they will be talked about the most.

Also, Rosales went 2-3 with a double and a pair of walks tonight. Inserting him to the leadoff spot appeared to work.

Fisher, Cueto, Bruce, Tatum, Pelland, Asadoorian, Anderson and Janish are all solid or better ball players.

I don't know about Pelland, what that guy is thinking at times makes me wonder. He has that pure bs performance is last time out and tonight he blows everyone away, mercy man. Must be the crazy lefty thing.

Dickerson is a guy I would like to be a late bloomer and put together enough bat with that glove. Best CF in the Reds system.
