I was thinking more like this... has any 2007 REDS reliever ever gotten through the 8th inning without allowing a run (or even a base runner)? Someone call Ripley's Believe-It-Or-Not!

I'm with ya. I hate the very concept of the LOOGY. If a pitcher can't record more than one out in an appearance, then I don't think he's much use on a team. I understand that sometimes you have to manage like it's the seventh game of the World Series, but specifically keeping a player on your roster so you manage like that all season long is a waste of resources and a roster spot, IMO.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

Great atbat by Hamilton. Fell behind 0-2 only to comeback and work a walk. He's been on base four times tonight (single, HR, HBP, walk).

Marty and Thom saying that out of HS, Josh Hamilton was said by scouts to be even more though of than A-Rod or Griffey.

I'm sure we've all heard that, but I still like to type it
