I loathe idiocy more than anything else. His Hopper > Dunn comments are an embarrassment.

I didn't agree with them either....and I am ok with trading Dunn for the right return, but I wouldn't fire him for them. Hopper wouldn't be my replacement next season if Dunn were traded...

If everybody got fired for saying something "idiotic", there'd be no radio talents......

I don't get to listen to Marty, but it seems like his comments about Dunn border on being personal (based on what's posted by the listeners), and I don't think there's room for those kind of attacks from the booth. At the very least, he should be warned about getting personal, and start being somewhat objective in the booth.

The AFLAC Trivia Question: Who are the two players with 3000+ career hits who did not have a hit in an All-Star Game?

My guess: Ty Cobb and Honus Wagner
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

He said yesterday he likes Adam Dunn...he said he's a good kid, a nice kid.... I just don't think he likes the way he plays the game....Marty's old school. Home Runs are great, but he would prefer Dunn have the other tools...ESPECIALLY defense.

His comments aren't meant to be personal to Dunn the guy, just how he feels about the baseball player.

Dunn Hater fans are more personal than Marty - and sometimes on the air as callers

According to George, the AFLAC answer was Robin Yount and Paul Waner.

I submit that it was a bad question, as neither Cobb nor Wagner played in an All-Star Game.

That's fair. As I said, I have to go by what is posted on this board, because I live out of the area. I like Norris Hopper, but he is not and never will be better than Adam Dunn. That's why I said it seems personal.

    Has Marty ever mentioned KRISP?
