    Re: Genealogy

I've been making some great strides in various family trees lately. I've added several generations back on some. Besides the Ireland project I mentioned in couple of posts back, I came across another "reverse genealogy" site that is tracing descendents of the folks from a number of villages in the RheinPflaz area of southwestern Germany that has added those generations and a couple of more villages.

I think I mentioned that Noodles Hahn married into one line. I finally added him to my family tree. He married a second cousin twice removed.

In the line I've just added to, I came across a 4th great grandmother named Dörr, which would often change to Doerr here in the States to substitute for the umlaut. Now I have to see if I'm related to Bobby Doerr!

    Re: Genealogy

I think I am likely related to Zack Cozart although very, very distantly I am sure.

My line goes back to Jacques Cossart, some info at the below link

It was from this Cossart that most, if not all, of the following names came from Cossart to Cossairt, to Kershaw to Cozart to Cazort to Cozad to Cozadd to Cassatt and on and on.

Interesting information out there if you like that sort of thing.

so what you're saying is that Clayton Kershaw will come to Cincy on a discount to play with his 5th cousin Zach Cozart? SWEET!

Well done with the information, my brother did some of my dad's side for a college project I thought once I got established somewhere maybe trying to expand upon it.
