I've been making some great strides in various family trees lately. I've added several generations back on some. Besides the Ireland project I mentioned in couple of posts back, I came across another "reverse genealogy" site that is tracing descendents of the folks from a number of villages in the RheinPflaz area of southwestern Germany that has added those generations and a couple of more villages.
I think I mentioned that Noodles Hahn married into one line. I finally added him to my family tree. He married a second cousin twice removed.
In the line I've just added to, I came across a 4th great grandmother named Dörr, which would often change to Doerr here in the States to substitute for the umlaut. Now I have to see if I'm related to Bobby Doerr!
