    Day After All Star Game!?!

Man, is this day worse than the off day after opening day or what? It's just brutal. I feel like I'm literally dying for a ballgame right now.

I'm about ready to break out my 1975 WS DVD's. BTW, any word on when '76 and '90 are coming out?

I know this season is a wash, but I can't help feeling hopeful for the new start. Our new skipper sure had a good first week. Not that I think he's why they had their best week of the season, but I had nothing but dread the day they extended Narron's contract. Glad to see it only took a year to get started on our next fiasco .

But seriously, lets have a toast to Pete and our beloved Reds.

Things really couldn't get much worse. So here's to our vets getting back on track, to giving some "kids" a taste of the show, to smart transactions if they are to be made and to some well played ball baseball games that we could build on for 2008!

I'm with ya, I believe this day is the one day of the year where no major sport is playing.

im just tryin to enjoy the 4 consecutive wins. it's kind of like when ohio st. wins the national championship, you are content with the offseason, but when they lose, you can't wait for it to start again.

I got my baseball fix by watching the AAA minor league all-star game on ESPN2 last night.
Votto played but I don't remember what he did as I didn't see the whole game.
I also watched the Brooklyn Dodgers documentary on HBO.

I stayed up till 1:00 AM watching that to. Next to the BRM of course the Brooklyn Dodgers of the 1950's are my favorite team of the past to read or learn about.

I hated seeing the Dodgers leave Brooklyn but that dome stadium that O'Malley was proposing really looked hideous!!
