In all fairness, I'd probably be nervous enough that I couldn't feel my arms. So I might not be much better.

The Mays interview was a lot of fun - especially when he basically said Junior is one of the closest things to himself on the playing field right now.

Manny yelled "reserve!" after each Red Sox' player was announced.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I know, I really liked when he said that. Based on what I've seen from video, I always thought they were pretty similar. And I think it's cool symmetry that Willie Mays was my dad's favorite player, and Junior is mine.

Does Ichiro Suzuki's uniform actually say ICHIRO on the back?
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

Jose Reyes is just one of the greatest things about baseball right now as far as I'm concerned.

I did not see, but most likely, it does. I believe he is more known now as Ichiro than he is Ichiro Suzuki - at least in the states.
There are many places where I no longer see his last name at all.

Has he EVER had Suzuki on the back?

People can dog baseball all they want, say that the NFL or Nascar or whatever has passed them by, but NO SPORT honors its legends better than baseball.

    This is true.
In my opinion, no other sports fan appreciates its past and the players who helped make the game what it has become more than baseball.
