    Reds record in one-run games

It seems like half the time the Reds lose a game, they lose it by 1-2 runs. I would be interested to know their record in 1-run games, as I suspect they are 18 games under .500 in 1 run games. This gives me a certain amount of hope for the future, as teams that lose a lot of 1 run games one year usually go on to win most of those games the next year.

Only because our pen always gives up more than 1 run in close games!

The Reds' problems with scoring late in the game is something that needs to be corrected but I'm not sure how they do that. Still, even with their lack of late production they score enough runs to be competitive. The bullpen has got to improve to hold the leads they're given.

I would have thought it was much worse than that. I have seen them lose so many close games this year.

The Reds lost two one-run games in the series versus the Mets. Let the futility keep rolling!
