Just pulled off a monster deal......

I'm in a 13 team keeper league points based system and we keep our entire team from year to year.

    I traded:

    David Wright
    Chone Figgins
    Carl Crawford
    Francisco Liriano
    John Lackey
    Takashi Saito
    Lance Berkman

    for

    Jose Reyes
    Chase Utley
    Matt Holliday
    Adrian Gonzalez
    Dan Haren
    Joel Zumaya
    Brandon Wood

most of my league has said they think i got he better of the deal, i agonized over pulling the trigger but after the trade I'll have

    C-John Buck
    1B-Adrian Gonzalez
    2B- Chase Utley
    SS-Jose Reyes
    3B-Edwin Encarnacion
    OF-Matt Holliday
    OF-Nick Markakis
    OF-Josh Hamilton
    Util - Corey Hart
    Util - Mike Jacobs

    SP-Dan Haren
    SP-Scott Kazmir
    SP-Phil Hughes
    SP-Yovani Gollardo
    SP-Josh Johnson
    RP-Brad Lidge
    RP-Joel ZUmaya

    dumb trade or no?

Here is how I would look at it.

Reyes, Utley, Holliday > Wright, Berkman, Crawford

Gonzalez, Wood, Haren, Zumaya < Liriano, Lackey, Figgins, Saito

So you got the better end of the elite players, he got a little better in the good players. Liriano is the key on his side. If he comes back and is what he was last year then it's pretty even deal.

Good healthy trade for both teams and I'm sure took a lot of time.

that's kinda how i made the decision, definitely agree Liriano is Key to the whole thing for him, i decided:

    Reyes > Wright
    Utley > Figgins
Holliday > Crawford, not by much though
    Gonzalez = Berkman

Wood and Haren < Lackey and Liriano

Zumaya < Saito, for now, not future though.

I don't know how to make sense of that, I honestly don't.

My mind is too slow today.
