I am a Bengals fan. Yet I choose to live in the Akron area, surrounded by Browns and Steelers fans. That does not make sense.

The Bears and Bengals play in different conferences and rarely play each other unless they meet in the Super Bowl. I am sorry to disappoint you, but I can be a fan of both teams and remain consistant. Being a Colts fan, one of my most bizarre sports moments was going to Cincinnati to see the Colts/Bengals around 1998. Being a die hard Reds fan it was very weird to go to Riverfront/Cinergy and be hated by the Cincinnati fans sitting around me.

I've been a Bengals fan since I made my first trip to Riverfront Stadium in August of 1975 and realized that some football team played in that beautiful bowl, as well as the Reds. I decided a couple of weeks later to watch that team on TV, and have been a fan ever since.
Help stamp out, eliminate, and do away with redundancy.
